A multi-national pharmaceutical production company, expanded its activity into several new markets and hired ISOTERIX to analyze the market, its competitors, funding options and a multi-layer understanding of the operating forces in the local industry.

The company presented ISOTERIX with 2 critical problems they are facing and required our abilities to solve those issues:

1. Distribution license – even though the product is manufactured and sold within the EU for many years, they couldn’t receive the local license to distribute and the application process was delayed all the time for different reasons and declined at the end.

2. Financing problems – as part of foreign investment regulations and supporting the local financing facilities, the company needed to take financing through a local bank. Unfortunately, in many CIS countries there are very few international banks, while most of the banks are local and from some reason, they rejected the financing request.

 

ISOTERIX discovered, through the collecting of human intelligence, backed with proven evidence, that the distribution license and the financial problems were the cause of competitor pressure on those organizations. After an internal intervention process and based on the intelligence material and proofs collected, the distribution license was provided and 2 banks approved the required financing to complete the company's market entry.
